What is an editor looking for in a scientific paper submission? NOAA Library is proud to offer this session, led by a Wiley editor, focused on qualities of a manuscript that have a clear, positive impact on the editorial review process and outcome – and the fundamental writing skills that support this. This will be a combined presentation for both NOAA and DOE.

The presenter will be Alina Bruma, Editor in Chief, Wiley. Alina earned her PhD in physics from the University of Birmingham, UK where she focused her studies on the structure-property relationship determination in nanomaterials using Transmission Electron Microscopy. She has held research positions at CNRS-CRISMAT in Caen, France, at the University of Texas San Antonio and more recently at the University of Maryland and NIST.
